Who are we looking for?

This role is crucial to ensuring that our product enables users to learn safety principles and allows our clients to be in compliance with safety regulations, improve their HSE culture, and grow their HSE training capabilities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, working across all aspects of HSE, and collaborating with internal teams to drive value and client success.

We work with leading global companies across diverse industries; including energy, chemicals, and manufacturing. The successful candidate will be instrumental in tailoring safety solutions to meet the unique needs of various industries, ensuring that clients not only comply with regulations but also foster a culture of safety excellence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and co-create each module for immersive safety simulations, ensuring alignment with industry-specific safety standards.
  • Assist in building adaptive learning solutions tailored to individual learner needs and competence levels.
  • Develop learning content that addresses all safety competence matrix requirements for clients in the energy, manufacturing, and construction industries.
  • Ensure compliance with international safety standards, including IOGP, NEBOSH, OSHA, and ISO.
  • Apply knowledge of the science of learning to design engaging and effective safety training content.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers to enhance learning effectiveness and learner engagement.
  • Leverage extensive experience in teaching safety rules to create practical, real-world scenarios in the simulations.
  • Stay informed on the latest safety trends and integrate new safety concepts into the learning modules.
  • Provide feedback and support to our simulation development to ensure high-quality, functional, and adaptive training modules.
  • Demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning, ensuring the content resonates with learners and enhances safety performance.

Key experience:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, safety management, adult education, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Industry Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in developing safety training solutions, preferably within the energy, manufacturing, or construction sectors.
  • Instructional Design: Proven experience in designing and developing immersive training modules using instructional design principles and methodologies.
  • Safety Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with international safety standards such as IOGP, NEBOSH, OSHA, and ISO, with experience implementing these in training content.
  • Digital Learning Experience: Previous experience in digital / e-learning strategies applied to training and education, with a focus on enhancing engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Adaptation and Personalization: Experience in creating adaptive learning solutions tailored to diverse learner needs and competency levels.

  • Collaboration: Excellent collaboration skills to work with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to create effective training solutions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey safety concepts and engage learners.
  • Passion for Learning: A genuine passion for teaching and learning, with a focus on fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
