Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Learning Designer to lead design for our new adaptive safety learning platform. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring people receive and build up their safety competence to ultimately reduce incidents and save lives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of instructional design principles, a strong background in developing training programs for sectors such as energy, manufacturing, and construction, and a proven ability to create content that meets compliance requirements. They should be innovative, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with our product and engineering teams. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the design of safety learning adaptive and micro-learning modules on the web and 3D.

  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content.

  • Utilizing instructional design principles to create engaging, effective, and interactive learning experiences.

  • Conducting needs assessments and gap analyses to identify training needs and opportunities for improvement.

  • Developing assessment tools and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.

  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve and innovate our training solutions.

Who are you?

A successful candidate will have the following skillsets and experience:

  • Proven experience in curriculum design, instructional design, learning design, or a related field..

  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and methodologies.

  • Experience in developing engaging or interactive training programs that enhance learner engagement and knowledge retention.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with subject matter experts, product teams, and other stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in using e-learning authoring tools and platforms (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
