Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for a PrincipalGame Developer who wants to use their experience to build a new, gamified world of learning.
You will be responsible for:
Document game systems, including usage patterns and limitations.
Integrate advanced graphics technologies to improve visuals and performance, optimizing for Unreal Engine 5's features.
Support the team in defining the strategy, technical vision, and direction, aligning with strategic goals, and exploring new technologies.
Develop modular, extensible game systems in Unreal Engine 5 using C++ and blueprints.
Foster collaboration across departments to ensure cohesive development efforts.
Port game systems to new platforms and enhance support for existing ones.
Design scalable, maintainable game architecture, choosing technology stacks and managing data strategies.
Support artists and technical artists with tested workflows and solutions.
Oversee quality assurance, implement testing frameworks, and lead performance optimization.
Analyze industry trends to drive innovation in game development processes and products.
Who are you?
A successful candidate will have the following skillsets and experience:
Over 8 years of professional development experience with Unreal Engine
At least one shipped title or product.
Excellent programming skills in C++
Working knowledge of Unreal multiplayer/replication systems, patterns and structures.
Familiar with source control (Perforce).
