Who are we looking for?
We seek a talented and experienced Product Designer (UX/UI) who is passionate about creating seamless, intuitive, and engaging user experience. This role is central to our mission, requiring a unique blend of skills in both UX and UI design to enhance our platform's usability and aesthetic appeal across web, mobile, and VR interfaces. Reporting directly to the Product Director, the ideal candidate will play a key role in defining and executing the design strategy, ensuring our solutions are not only effective but also a delight to use.
You will be responsible for:
- Crafting user-centered design that embody the needs of our diverse user base across different industries.
- Developing and refining user interfaces, incorporating UX best practices to enhance accessibility, usability, and engagement.
- Collaborating closely with product management, engineering, and cross-functional teams to align design with product strategy and roadmap.
- Conducting user research and usability testing to gather insights, validate design decisions, and continuously improve the user experience.
- Establishing and maintaining a consistent design language and library, ensuring brand integrity across all product touch points.
- Innovating within the constraints of web, mobile, and VR platforms to create experiences that are not just functional but memorable.
Who are you?
A successful candidate will have the following skillsets and experience:
- A robust portfolio showcasing expertise in both UX and UI design, with a track record of improving user satisfaction and business outcomes.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
- Demonstrated experience in user research methodologies and usability testing.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, interaction design, and information architecture.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and iterate based on feedback.
- A passion for safety, learning, and innovation, with a desire to contribute to a team that's making a tangible difference in the world.
- Experience designing for diverse platforms, including web and mobile. VR is a bonus.
- 3+ years of experience in a UX/UI design role, ideally within an environment focused on crafting engaging journeys within learning and development, entertainment platforms, or similar fields
